A community-driven fundraising initiative to support the McGrath Foundation.

Pink isn’t just a colour—it’s a signal of care, community, and hope. Kallinyalla Garden Centre, partnering with 11 other Garden Centre SA members, invites photographers, artists, and everyday creators to turn that pink into action through the Strike Me Pink Photo Competition. Every entry fee or donation helps ensure that no one facing cancer is without the support of a McGrath Care Nurse.

Purpose: Art that fuels care The Strike Me Pink Photo Competition is designed to raise funds for the McGrath Foundation. Through your camera lens, capture and interpret the fundraising title “Strike Me Pink” in an original, engaging image. By entering, you contribute to a meaningful cause and gain the opportunity to showcase your work in a public setting.

• Submission format: An original A4 photograph.
• Entry fee: $10 per photo. Include the required entry fee with your submission (all funds go directly to the McGrath Foundation).
• Submission deadline: Friday, 13 March 2026 at 4:00 pm.
• Entry forms: Visit Kallinyalla Garden Centre to collect an entry form or request one by emailing admin@kallinyalla.com.au.

• Public voting window: March 15, 2026, 10:00 am to March 22, 2026, 2:00 pm.
• Winner announcement: The winning entry will be celebrated with a certificate and a feature across Kallinyalla Garden Centre’s channels.

• Prize: There is no prize money. All entry submission fees go directly to the McGrath Foundation.
• Winner selection: The winner is determined by public vote.
• Public voting window: Sunday, 15 March 2026 at 10:00 am to Sunday, 22 March 2026 at 2:00 pm.
• Recognition: The winner will receive a certificate, and their photo will be promoted on Kallinyalla Garden Centre’s social media platforms and website.
• Usage rights: Kallinyalla Garden Centre will display entries only during the voting period. Any other use will require direct negotiation with the owner.
• Post-competition: Entrants are responsible for collecting their photo(s); the Centre will not arrange return shipping or pickup.

Why it matters Funds raised through this campaign support McGrath Foundation care nurses, helping to ensure compassionate, in-home and hospital support for people facing cancer. Art and community come together to drive real-world impact—your image can spark conversations, raise funds, and extend care to those who need it most.
